Pastor Ensrude brings the message again in our Fellowship Hall. The text is Jesus parable of the Prodigal Son from the Gospel of Luke.
Pastor Grave delivered this sermon on March 14th, Pi Day at the Lenten Service in the fellowship hall of Zion Lutheran Church. The text is the prologue from the Gospel of John (1:1-14).
Thank you for listening, if there is anyway we can assist your spiritual growth or any prayer concerns please contact us through our website, www.zion-lutheran.com
Pastor Grave is leading worship and preaching this day. Our Sanctuary is in the midst of some significant re-construction and so our Fredericksburg congregation worshipped together in the Fellowship Hall.
This podcast is the sermon and the sermon hymn. The text for this sermon is Luke’s account of the parable of the fig tree, Luke 13:1-9.
Pastor Ensrude shares the message with the congregation today. His message is based on the text from Luke 13:31-35. For the Children’s sermon Pastor Ensrude described how the many stained glass windows in our sanctuary tell the story, and this cut into the time of the longer sermon.
This podcast is the sermon and the sermon hymn.
One of the ministries of Zion Lutheran in Fredericksburg is to lead worship and minister to the needs of the Kerrville ELCA Mission Fellowship. We meet every Sunday afternoon at 3PM in the Episcopal Church and celebrate Holy Communion within the liturgy of Holden Evening Prayer.
This podcast is the opening sections of the worship, Pastor Grave is presideing
Today’s service was especially exciting. Pastor Ensrude led a wonderful interactive childrens’ sermon. Our Young people were shown all the symbolism in our stained glass windows. As I said, it was wonderful however it doesn’t lend itself to the podcast format.
Our next service will be Wednesday March 7, 2007.
God Bless,
Pastor Jay Grave
